I apologize my blog has been silent for six weeks. I had surgery and have now recovered. I give praise to the Lord for His protection and provision in response to the prayers of many. Thank you for your support.
May I ask you to pray for my vocal cords? When the breathing tube was inserted into my throat during the surgery, one of my vocal cords became weak. This causes my voice to fade in and out. Although being a writer doesn’t require a pleasant speaking voice, it would be a blessing to have my normal voice back.
Some wonderful things have happened since my last blog. After a month of delays, Sky Blue is now out in paperback on Amazon! It is selling for $11.99. So far in July, three more Sky Blue ebooks for $3.99 were purchased. Also, there have been an additional fifty-five free downloads of the Sky Blue Kindle version on a special day chosen by the publisher. Also, three more people read it on Kindle Unlimited.
Clouds Gray, the second book of the Sky Blue trilogy, is listed on Kindle right now for pre-order at $3.99 an ebook. It will be released in a few more weeks on August 17th. The paperback version is ready and will be released on August 17th or a few days later. It will sell for $11.99 on Amazon. Clouds Gray takes place in Sapporo on the island of Hokkaido when Eiko returns to her hometown and family for the holidays.
More good news… The day before my surgery, I finished the Bamboo Green manuscript, the third and final book of the series. It is being edited right now. By God’s grace it is on schedule to be released in October in time for Christmas. It has been an amazing journey of faith since I signed my contract with Hartline Literary Agency in October of last year.
To God be the Glory!
